Lansdowne Benches

In late 2013 we were contacted by O’Leary’s of Ottawa to design forms for cast in place concrete benches at the new Lansdowne Urban Park. Much of the concrete work was done during the winter months under a tight schedule.

Using the foam forms allowed O’Leary’s to save time both making the forms and setting them up. Also casting in the foam let the concrete set at a slower rate giving it more strength and in the winter months kept the concrete from freezing.
